I did a similar meme this time last year and it was really interesting to compare what I'd made over the course of the year so I thought I'd give it a go again, only this time with a twist; the good, the bad and the ugly. For each icon post over the last year I've picked out three icons (the good, the bad, the ugly / favourite, middle, least favourite). The challenge for the 20in20 was to make a rainbow of icons. My claim was Guy & Isabella (not as a pairing), and the icons ended up a mixture of caps with both of them in, and manips I put together to depict certain aspects of their relationship - Isabella's sense of betrayal and Guy's regret, their shared animosity, and my head-canon that if they had gotten along and worked together they could have made a pretty badass team!

I have one more icon post to do before the New Year, but I'll save it for New Year's Eve so that I can squeeze in any last-minute 2012 icons. I plan on doing things slightly differently next year when it comes to posting icons - 20in20/other entries (the ones that permit posting publicly before voting anyway) will be posted as I complete them, and everything else will be collated into an end-of-month post (or mid-month, depending on how many icons I make in the first two weeks!) There may even be some non-icon graphics and a new comm layout appearing, so keep 'em peeled!

Finally, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to anyone viewing this comm! Hope it's a good one :D

Sorry for small batch - I was sorting through my icon folders and saw that I'd forgotten to post these here. Whoops! The challenge for the Game of Thrones icons was to create 5 icons and a colour bar (made from five other icons) about a non-

westerosorting House, and I picked House Arryn because along with House Tully (which I was sorted into) I feel closest (at least geographically!) to the Arryns. And yes, I do encourage you to join

westerosorting and get sorted - it's huge fun, and there are loads of contests of varying types; I'll hopefully get posting some of my other entries here soon!

Umm, I'm not entirely sure what happened here today. One minute I was sorting out the image folder on my computer, the next I had Gimp open and twenty icons made... Anyway, I hope they look alright - I've been experimenting quite a lot lately and I'd love some feedback =) This will probably be my last batch of the year (unless random inspiration strikes again!), so I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Negative space and bright colours seems to be my thing at the moment, but I like it so I did more =D I was having a bit of a 'OMG PERIOD DRAMA COSTUMES ARE SO GORG' moment earlier so that sort of exploded into icon-vomit, as you can see... I tried to put some more light into my icons so hopefully that worked, and I hope you like the result!
