for 20inspirations R35



20inspirations came back for a one-off round and of course I claimed Outlander when I signed up, although I only managed to finish this set by the skin of my teeth! The theme for this round was 'Flashback', focusing on different iconning styles that have appeared over the years (many that were before I ever started iconning) so it was difficult to make icons to fit each style, while still being true to 'my' style.

The styles are: Colourful & Shiny (+ Light Textures) [01-02]; Multiple Images [03-04]; Textures [05-06]; Text [07-08]; Bold Colours & Contrast [09-10]; Clean & Minimalistic [11-12]; Close-Up & Obscure Crops [13-14]; Experimental [15-16]; Muted & Vintage [17-18]; Black & White [19-20].

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love these icons. I just tried to pick favorites and I ended up with most of them on the list. These are absolutely stunning! I especially like the colors on 2 and 9, and 11 and 12 seriously remind me of your old icons while staying very true to where you are now. I also seriously love the atmosphere you created on 4 and 7!
